Everyone, raving about Sri Lanka has a point – it’s a tropical island brimming with things to see, do and get into. But what seems like a dot on the map is actually a compact yet complex island that will cast a spell on you with every turn. This package featuring the East Coast is perfect for those who are looking to explore Sri Lanka and also enjoy some serious beach time on the east coast. We’ve worked in the biggest attractions and paced it so that you are never rushed. Speak to us to add a different East Coast destination or to fine-tune this plan further.

Summary of this Island Magic (East Coast) Tour

After a warm welcome at the airport and some time off in Negombo  to recover from your journey, we cut across Sri Lanka with each stop revealing its secrets for you. First up are the gorgeous paintings of Dambulla Rock Cave with their remarkable history. Then live like a local and cook up a storm mimicking traditions that are fast fading. Follow that up with a climb of the stunning Sigiriya Rock.

Take to the hills the next day with a visit to the Kandy, Temple and hop on a train journey that will wow you with breathtaking scenery. Relax in the cool climes of Nuwara-Eliya sipping tea and hike through the other-worldly Horton Plains.

Then pull out the suntan and dive into the clear blue waters of the East Coast. Spend your time languishing in pure bliss before picking things up with a wildlife Safari. And then bring your holiday to a close in Colombo with brief stops along the southern coast with a highlight tour of the Galle Fort. This tour features 6/8 UNESCO World Heritage sites in Sri Lanka.

Our packages feature all entrance costs, super comfortable rides and a local Foozoo friend. Everything about this tour is about you experiencing Sri Lanka on an intimate level so this is not your average tick-the-box tour with a chauffeur!
